This project sees the add-on of a new Back of House to the Theatre Royal.  This historic building requires special attention to detail, ensuring that the old style look is retained. In addition to the new back of house, work has also been done on the Front of House as the scope of this project grew.  This project has recently been completed and photos will be updated soon.

Extending an existing building to appear that it has always appeared that way can be a challenge.  Add to this challenge by undertaking the project in stages so that Fulton Hogan staff can continue to operate and you have another challenge.  Luckily the Fulton Hogan team was fantastic to work with and the outcome has been extremely satisfactory to all stakeholders.

This 1901 villa renovation required special attention to ensure that the character of the home was not unbalanced by a new kitchen and bathroom, along with extensions to the deck and changes to the entrance way.  The owners are over the moon with the changes and are particularly pleased with a far more functional kitchen and bathroom space, both which flow with the rest of the home.

This particular project was extremely challenging in the sense that this 3000 m2 plus building had a short time frame of 11 months set due to the release of existing leases. This included the design, resource consent, building consent and demolition of the existing building, as well as the construction of the new building.
