House of the Year and Commercial Awards
Retail and Business Project Award
Silver Award
Waimea House
New Office and Storage Building
Constructing
this building to meet our client's needs was made
simpler by the fact that the client (being an architect) designed
the building himself using the Green Start building rating system
to incorporate sustainable features but also retain a commercial
feel and appearance. This has in turn produced an amazing result
with a very open plan concept that produces a light and bright
work environment. |

Retail and Business Project Award
Silver Award
Fulton Hogan
Office Redevelopment
The brief for
this project was to retain as much of the existing building, whilst
modernizing it with the extension. All internal non-bracing walls are
moveable with carpet underneath to aid any future alterations. The end
result is a highly functional admin block that looks like it was built as
one. |
